Yu-Gi-Oh! WCQ State Championship 2024 Cape Town
The road to the 2024 World Championship continues with the 2024 European Yu‑Gi‑Oh! World Championship Qualifier – State Championships! South African Duelists will compete against one another for the title of “State Champion”, in some of the biggest events of the year.
In addition to competing for the title of “State Champion”, the top performing Duelists in each event will also receive various prizes, including Game Mats, Prize Cards, Trophies, and other exclusive items. Many players will also earn qualifications to the 2024 European World Championship Qualifier that takes place this Summer.

Swiss system with a best of 3 45min time limit. Top Cut Single-Elimination best of 3
The time limit for the Single-Elimination playoff rounds may be extended from 45 minutes to a maximum of 60 minutes, at the discretion of the Tournament Organiser, but only if announced prior to the start of the tournament. Time constraints need to be considered and how impactful they will be to the flow of the event and the experience of Duelists at the event.

-State Championships are open to everybody; you do not need to qualify for these events.
-Duelists can compete in any State Championship (even ones taking place in different countries); however, a Duelist can only compete in one National Championship or State Championship per year, this includes events in other continents.
Returns & Replacements
All returns require approval and an RMA. Please email info@swordandboardgames.co.za for approval before sending back merchandise.
Sword and Board will accept returns on all unopened products within 2 weeks of delivery. Sword and Board does not cover shipping costs on returns. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. The restocking fee is waived if store credit is elected as the refund method.
If a sealed product contains missing or damaged parts, you will have to contact the manufacturer to correct the problem. If you need help finding the contact information for the manufacturer, you may call or email Sword and Board and we will be happy to assist you.
Due to the fluidity of the collectible gaming market, we are unable to accept returns on singles, including Magic: The Gathering and Star Wars Destiny. The only exception to this policy is if you have received a card in a condition inconsistent with the guidelines of our Grading Policy. If you feel this applies to a card you have purchased, email info@swordandboardgames.co.za within 3 days of delivery to resolve the issue via exchange or refund.
